New Band, New Tunes, New Gigs

Well, here we are, my friends, the moment we’ve all been waiting for. The line-up is locked in, the amps are plugged, and the drumsticks are twirling in anticipation. After months of auditions, rehearsals and a few questionable hairstyle choices, our new band is officially ready to take the stage.

We are Riot Street Rebels.

We’ve dusted off some old classics from my back catalogue, and they’re sounding fresher than ever. But that’s not all – soon, we’ll be diving headfirst into a treasure trove of new tunes from my forward thinking songbook. The excitement is real, and we’re ready to bring some serious fun to every gig we play.

You might be wondering what this “serious fun” is all about. Well, it’s the kind of fun that makes you lose track of time, forget about tomorrow’s early alarm, and dance like nobody’s watching. It’s the reason we started this band in the first place – to create a space where people can come together, let loose, and enjoy some damn good music.

We’re here to bring the energy, the laughs, and the tunes that’ll have you singing in the shower for days.

Trust me, we’ve got plenty of those tunes up our sleeves.

But here’s the thing: as much as we’d love to play in your living room (no, seriously, we would), we’re aiming to hit some proper venues around Manchester, Leeds, Halifax, and Huddersfield.

This is where you dear reader, come in. If you know of any pubs, clubs, or even a slightly dodgy dive bar with a decent PA system, we’d love to hear about it.

We’re on the hunt for gigs that will let us bring our brand of musical mayhem to the masses, and your local knowledge could be the key to making that happen.

So, if you want to help us out – and score some serious karma points in the process, drop us a line. Whether it’s a tip-off about a hidden gem of a venue or a direct line to a booking manager, we’re all ears.

Let’s get this show on the road, literally. With your help, we can turn these new songs into the soundtrack of some unforgettable nights. And who knows? Maybe we’ll even buy you a drink after the show. Cheers to the future, and let’s make it a loud one.

See ya at the front.

Riot Street Rebels Tear It Up at Sleazy, Morecambe

Date: 23.06.2035
Venue: Johnny Rotten Stage, Sleazy, Morecambe, UK
Line-up: Riot Street Rebels (Rocco, Sam & Ash)

What. A. Night.

We hit the Johnny Rotten Stage at Sleazy not knowing exactly what to expect, the venue had changed since last year, but from the moment we stepped on stage, it was clear: this was going to be one for the books.

The place was packed, loud, and dripping with energy. After our setup and soundcheck, we let Magnificent Seven roll as the crowd gathered. The atmosphere hit boiling point before we’d even played a note. Then we launched straight into Psycho Radio, and boom, bodies moving, fists up, full chaos mode.

The set was tight loaded with Rebels favourites and a couple of new bangers we’ve been dying to road-test. Just Kids and Sex, Drugs & Fisticuffs hit hard and went down like classics. Crowd highlight? The massive singalong to our cover of Let’s Dance — goosebumps.

Ash and Sam brought the fire. Gritty riffs, thunderous drums, soaring backing vocals, everything clicked. The crowd were with us from first chord to final note. We wrapped it all up with a wild cover of Wuthering Heights. Yes, really. And yes, we nailed it.

Huge love to everyone who came out, shouted back, danced, and made it unforgettable. Sleazy, you’re a beast of a venue, one of the best we’ve played.

Massive thanks to the crew, the other bands, The Eddies’ frontman, and whoever kept the drinks flowing.

Snapped a shot or video? Send it to riotstreetrebels@gmail.com or tag us—don’t let it live in your camera roll.

We’re not done. Catch us soon at 1 in 12 (Bradford), Boulevard (Wigan), and Birkenhead Punk Festival. If you were at Sleazy, you’ll want to be down the front again.

Stay loud,
